Stephanie James is a Los Angeles based fabricator, educator, and artist.

Currently Stephanie is primarily working in stop motion animation as a puppet fabricator and occasional puppet wrangler. With her love of miniatures she has also ventured into the realm of live action and toy commercials as a scale model maker, art department fabricator, and in a couple of rare instances, as a dinosaur toy puppeteer. Other creative ventures have included visual merchandise display and live action puppet building.

Her background is in sculptural work, installation, and fiber sculpture.

She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from California College of the Arts and completed her Masters studies in Animation at UCLA.
